In Rapids This Weekend:

Just an FYI for anyone that cares, or if anyone is by any stretch going to be in or near Rapids, we are visiting my parents and having Chloe's 6th Bday party this weekend!

Of course, it couldn't' of happened on a worse weekend.... City of Heroes is giving out Double XP this weekend (I could of taken my scrapper to 50... **sniff**). Not to mention I have the Defias Brotherhood quest/Instance that i have to complete in WoW... i may have to "borrow" my aunts DSL connection... hmm...

Anyway, if you'll be in town and want to get together/meet Jen and Bugs, let me know!

This just makes me sick...

Here is the link to a recent Wall Street Journal Article on healthy people who use ECV's. The first paragraph text will follow:

[i]On a recent afternoon at Walt Disney World, Dennis Robles was cruising around on an electric "mobility scooter" that the park usually rents out to people with disabilities. Mr. Robles doesn't have a problem walking -- he says he was simply saving up energy for late-night dancing.

"I'm pretty healthy," says the 37-year-old truck driver from Brooklyn, N.Y. "Just lazy, I guess."

Now that irks me. I know, everyone should have the freedom to do this if they want but... How many of these people who just didn't feel like walking run over our feet, push us out of the way, and use the disabled lines? If you are healthy and just "lazy" maybe Disney isn't the place for you.

Updated my profile...

Decided to update my profile, seeing as... well, i have never updated it.

Jen says i have now exceeded the "geek" level and have gone to "supergeek" - Every night when our daughter goes down, she logs into City of Heroes for the night. But me... I play City of Heroes for a few hours, manage our supergroups, etc. Then I play World of Warcraft too. Yeah, I am a sucker for those games.

But i am not bored at least.

(okay... so I am... or I wouldn't be writing this...)
