6 Days to go to Disney!
Don't you love the week before vacation?
Work, Daycare, and life in general all seems to go by so fast... For me, there is only 3 workday's left! And one of them is only a half day!
The culmination of all of our planning, hard work, and penny pinching is going to pay itself off next week, and we will do our best to provide you with photos of our trip! This is, of course, assuming we pay for the high speed internet... that is still up for debate... (After all... both Jen and I know that if we were to get the internet connection, we would be playing either Warcraft or City of Heroes at night.... We are that addicted...)
If nothing else we will have good pictures (and maybe some video) when we get back!
We bought a new Camcorder for the trip! One of those fancy ones that you can plug straight into the computer and stream the videos. It also takes still photos on an SD-Card, which we have multiples of. I will be running the video camera, while Jen will have control of our digi-cam. Least year, we took over 200 pictures... this year we are going for more! Not to mention we are going to try to get ride videos of all the rides :)
The weather looks like it is holding out for us, which is a good thing. No tropical storms on the map right now... YAY! But even if one does hit while we are down there, no biggie... From what we have read, it only impacts people one day, and the parks are usually empty but functional the next day.
Sorry this was such an upbeat and non-logical post. Disney does that to me sometimes. Makes me... happy (weird). Especially knowing the look both Jen and Bugs will have on their face when we pass through the gates... Not to mention my mom.
If you didn't hear (or don't care), my parents are coming along this time. While they have been to Disney World before, they have never done what we are doing this year. My mother is very excited. She has never stayed on property, or eaten at so many of the "in park" restaraunts as we are this trip. Her and Dad don't have to drive around, since we are not renting cars (we are doing only Disney things, not going off site). And Matt and I are fully grown, which means they don't have to watch over us. They get to RELAX this entire vacation, and do nothing but spoil a 6 year old girl that they can hand back over to us if she gets out of hand!
Anyway, this will probably be my last post until our official "send off" on Monday! We have a lot of packing to do, and a little more shopping left. It's going to be a quick week, and if we don't do it now... we will be rushing at the last minute!
Have a good week all!

Just hope the airline doesn't lose your frickin' bags.
Recommendation: No matter what you have to sacrifice for it, CARRY ON ALL THE IRREPLACABLE STUFF. If they don't find my bag (see blog for details) I've lost hand-made birthday presents, a pair of my sister's imported shoes, my mom's expensive handmade Norwegian sweater...gah. There's no way I could have carried it all on, but still. I'm mad that I didn't.
...but really. Have fun. Sorry for the "I'm going to spoil your trip" tone of my last comment. I'm just really, really, really annoyed right now.
Have a great time. I can't wait until Ella and hopefully future children will be old enough to take to Disney. I've gone 4 or 5 times, but only really remember 3 of them - so I want to make sure she'll be old enough to know what's going on!
Have fun!
...and make sure to get to the airport a gazillion hours early. Security is probably a mess now that you can't take ANYTHING in your carry-on.
Hope the airports aren't too terrible! Pack all your liquids in checked stuff - how retarded!
